The Tell Tale Heart:Law Brief

In class, we just finished reading "The Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe. I think he's innocent because he's menatally unbalenced so he doesn't know whats right or wrong so he shouldn't go to jail when he doesn't know what he's doing.He should be punished for what he did but instead of jail he should go to a mental instatute.
